Welcome to Friday Night Flag Cache Valley

Friday Night Flag is an NFL Flag-affiliated league, for all boys and girls from Pre-K to 8th grade,
with an emphasis on team play and sportsmanship.

Registration is OPEN for Fall 2025.
The Fall season runs from August to October, with games taking place on Friday nights.

Coaches may have up to 4 practices prior to Opening Night, August 29.
Practices may begin the week of August 10. Practice times and location is up to the discretion of the volunteer head coach.
Friday Night Flag heavily relies on parent volunteers to serve as head coaches.
If you are able to coach this season, we would greatly appreciate your help with coaching.

Note: Our league has a zero-tolerance policy for physical, emotional, or sexual harassment or abuse. All new head coaches must complete a background check and a signed code of conduct before the first practice of the season to ensure the safety of children and youth. We also urge all players, parents, coaches, officials, and fans to exhibit mutual respect towards each other during our practices and games, as well as towards our equipment and playing fields.

Head Coach receives 1 free registration for the season following the one in which they served as head coach

5 regular season games

Last week is a single-elimination championship

5 on 5 format (10 players per team)

Equal playing time

One practice held a week (1-1.5 long)

NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams.

Coaches are typically volunteer parents

Champion gifts may be awarded to the Champions and head coach of the grade division

We're excited to offer individual grade divisions this season for grades 1-5!

Please note: If there are not enough players in a grade, we may have to combine adjacent grade levels after registration closes.

Games typically begin at 5:15, 6:15, 7:15, and 8:15; however, due to popular demand, we may start the first round of games at 4:30 or 4:45 pm on Fridays, depending on field space and ref availability.

ATTENTION, TEAM SPONSORS REQUIRED:

All teams are required to have a Team Sponsor for their team. The Team Sponsorship is $175. This is required in order for teams to receive their NFL jerseys and shorts provided by the league. Team sponsorships will be due at Jersey Pickup Night.

Cache Valley Fall 2025 Game Season Dates: 6 weeks, August 29, 2025 - October 3, 2025, with Championship Night on Saturday, October 4, 2025 (no conflicts with fall break!)

REGISTRATION DATES: May 14 to July 28, or until divisions are full

Early Registration:

Begins on May 14, 2025, at $125
Ends on May 27, 2025

Regular Registration:

Begins on May 28, 2025, at $135
Closes on July 10, 2025

Late Registration:

Opens on July 11, 2025, at a rate of $150
Closes on July 28, 2025, or until divisions fill up.
Wait List Registration begins after Divisions are full and will be $155

Coach Volunteers

Head coaches, typically volunteer parents, earn 1 FREE PLAYER REGISTRATION for the next season they coach. All new head coaches must complete a background check.

PRACTICES

Practices may begin the week of August 10.

Coaches may have no more than up to 4 practices and 1 scrimmage (optional) before Opening Night, August 29.

After the first game night, practices are encouraged throughout the entire season for once a week, 1.5 hours or less.

Coaches determine practice time and location for their team.

REGULAR GAMES

5 regular game nights - every Friday night from August 29 to September 26

END-OF-SEASON TOURNAMENT

Playoffs - Friday, October 3 (All teams will participate)

Championship - Saturday, October 4

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS after August 1, 2025. Refunds will also not be issued due to cancellations for weather/field condition. Forfeited games will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Grade Division & Age Policy

Must be at least 4 years old by the first night of games, August 29, 2025, to play in our Kinder Division.
